Getting TO/AROUND: Røros is situated about 380 km from Oslo, 150 km from Trondheim and only 45 km from the Swedish border.

There are daily planes from Oslo (35minutes from Oslo Gardermoen Airport), and several daily train departures from Oslo and Trondheim. From both Oslo and Trondheim there are also daily express bus connections.
