I visited Stockholm in April, which was right after the cold scandinavian winter and before the big tourist crowds you can expect in summer months. The city was shining in spring sun, Stockholmers taking every occasion to walk or lay in the sun. The city is spread on a vast archipelago, island of Gamla Stan being the center. Excellent traffic system is the reason that all parts of the city are easily accessible - plan at least one day for Gamla Stan and the central part, and don't hesitate to take the Tunnelbana and explore more distant parts of this great city! |

| Pros: | "Great city, pulsating city life, interesting and helpful people." | | Cons: | "It's Scandinavia - sometimes too dark, sometimes too light; always too expensive." |
