Area around Erzurum offers a huge variety of activities - from skiing in Palndöken Ski Resort to hot springs in Pasinler. The best way to discover the region is, without any doubt, to rent a car. It's the only way to get to the remoted valleys with its architectural treasures - montanious country between Erzurum and Artvin was once part of the medieval Kingdom of Georgia, and still has numerous churches, castles and cathedrals to testify for it!
