Amerisuites Oklahoma City Airport: Amerisuites OKC Airport Hyatt Place OKC Airport Review

I stayed here on a bus tour down Route 66 and as such had no choice in the accomodation. On a bus tour, which is how I like to travel, my preference, is for a hotel in the centre of town near the centre of the city's nightlife as I will be walking.

Amersuites don't do that. They are usually some way away from the action. In this case, the Amerisuites is on 'Hotel Row' for OKC.

Don't misunderstand, I am not complaining from a quality standpoint, it's just that they're so..so..so-so.

They are exactly what they are supposed to be...Motels. No character, no restaurants, no bars.

The rooms are fine, spacious enough (especially in one of their TCB suites), clean and of a perfectly reasonable standard.

Ok, they put out a free 'continental breakfast', but if you want to sit down to eat or drink, you have to go out and there isn't always a place handy.

Fair enough, this location had a numbr of restauarants within short walking distance, so perhaps I'm being a little unfair here.

Overall, acceptable but convenient only for business travellers who like to be close to the airport.
