Country Tonite!: Country Tonite!

This was the show portion of an optional excursion to Branson.

The show is now in it's tenth season in Branson, Missouri, and has been, I understand, voted "International Country Music Show of the Year!".

I'm not sure when that was but it probably wasn't this year. Don't misunderstand me, for the price (around $28), the show was more than acceptable but it was nothing to write home about (mind you, isn't that what I'm doing here..?).

I spoke to a gentleman who had seen the show a number of times and he was of the opinion that the quality had slipped from previous years.

The band and singers were all good, if not exceptional, although I am always wary of a troupe that has to have two teenage children as two of their four main performers..can't they get adults and shouldn't they be doing their homework..it was a school night!?

My personal quibbles aside, a reasonable show for a reasonable price.
