Looks better in the dark
I stayed at the Quality Inn Mountain Ranch & Resort in September 2003 on my coach tour down Route 66. The hotel was booked by the tour company and I was disappointed as, in fact, it's actually six miles east of Williams on I-40. Not very handy for the town (with it's section of Route 66) unless you have a car.
The hotel is situated on 35 acres (privately owned) and surrounded by the tall ponderosa pines and borders the Kaibab National Forest.
The rooms as adequate as one would expect for this type of accomodation but, as I stayed for only one evening/night, I cannot comment on the amenities.
