I stopped in Alice Springs for only a couple of nights as part of an extensive Cosmos tour of Australia & New Zealand.
I'd only heard of Alice Springs from a movie but enjoyed a couple of cool optional excusions whilst there (See Must See Activities and Restaurants)
From there we moved on to Uluru (Ayers Rock)

I haven't been doing this...I am green with envy ^..^
My hubby and daughter did that exact same thing. They loved it. But I didn't. I don't travel.
Flying In A Small Wicker Basket Hundred's Of Feet Above The Ground Looks An Amazing Experience Though Slightly Scary At The Same Time...Nice Page And Great Pics...John.
