Valencia is an incredibly lively town. People is nice, hundreds of pubs and bars (especially during the exciting week end), you'll have great food and tasty drinks, reasonably cheap prices, beautiful shopping, easy way to get there and to stay there in beautiful hostels in the downtown, sweet weather... So, what are you waiting for?
In Valencia you have different beautiful youth hostel where you can meet people from all over the world. They are cheap, in the centre, and cool ;-)
Forget tiuristic maps... Just step around smelling this incredible town. I went into a barber shop to shave my beard, inside a private house (they invited me) where a whole family was dancing flamenco and sevillanas, in some shops to buy very beautiful jeans... just step around...
