'bring your own wine' and 'two cheek kiss'

by shashasharon - last update: Nov 17, 2003

Montreal is one of the few cities I have come across that practice these two great phenomena's ...the 'bring your own wine' restaurant and 'the two cheek kiss'
Many restaurants in Montreal allow patrons to bring their own wine, they will open it for you and provide your glasses free of charge..Most just give you regular wine glasses, but some of the high end french restaurants have glasses to match your wine (I just drink wine I am not such a connaisseur to know what wine goes in what glass)..

fairmont or st viateur bagel

I think all of us are one or the other..you are oxford or websters..porshe or jaguar..cigars cigarettes..well in my home town you are either fairmont bagel or st viateur bagel...you're either schwartz's or the main...st laurent or crescent..if you know montreal and you know me..I am st viateur, schwartz's (but the main for vereneke's) and st laurent...all the way baby

Came back for a refresher course. Strippers in Montreal? I'm shocked - thought they were all in Toronto....
