Stop of Kalbarri Trip I didn't really visit or stay in Geraldton. I went to Geraldton just for a stop on the way to Kalbarri. I think most trip to Kalbarri will also stop here as the way from Perth to Kalbarri is so long.
Got refreshed in Geraldton twice, the ways to and from Kalbarri. Nice city. Liked the beach and jetty so much and took great pictures. (Sorry, haven't got scanner.) Walking all the way down the jetty in nice weather can be so romantic. |
Looking for FOOD The city is so small and we find a problem of looking for food. There are a few fast food in Geraldton: Chicken Treat, Domino's, KFC and McDonald's. Beautiful cafes near the shore also, but quite expensive. To go budget, try a Thai Restaurant or Food Court mentioned in tips.
There is a SupaValu supermarket near the carpark. If you are going to Kalbarri, you can also shop there so not need to hurry for shopping. |
Fun Things to Do A pity that I had to go pass the town, actually quite a lot to see in Geraldton. Not to miss: Musemum and ex-naval ship Syndey. Another place of interest: a playground near the KFC, got a swing you won't miss once you see. |
