The Grand concert to celebrate the
Olympic Torch lighting the Caldron
in the middle of the Mall out side Buckingham Palace. The last time this took place was 1948.
The flame will leave London to compleat its 5 Continent Jouney
ariving in athens on the 13th of august for the games.

I travelled much of western Europe
camping or staying in hostel's.
I visited the following.
Greece, Italy, France,Spain,Germany
Cyprus, Belguim, Netherlands
Luxenborg, Denmark, Switzerland
Norway, Sweden,Iceland.
Gibralter
I have been to every county in England. also visited Scotland & Wales.
This year i took the family to the
Kempen region (Dutch-Belguim borders). An area Where in a week we met no British people even caf'e menus
&road signs were in dutch only. The
locals of all ages will soon translate
and advise you in all matters.
Weather permiting all the Flemish people love to sit outside their bars
drinking good ale watching all the diferent types of people drift past.
I live in Romford N/E Greater London
a location handy for me working in
London. Otherwise a boring place
where the inept town planners have destroyed most of our historical
past for modern cubes.
I am a keen Angler who likes to fish
natural rivers for native English
fish such as Chub/ Roach/ Pike.
I am also supporting local environment campaigners to save
what is left of Londons Green Belt.
When i get free time at home i look
for what is happening around the world on the
inter net. Or listen to Underground
music from the 60s-70s ie pink fairies/pretty things
I hope to see some of former communist eastern europe in the near future. |
