I had a great time and the "Hyatt Riot" hotel on Sunset Blvd. This hotel has housed some of the biggest names in music and film, such as Led Zeppelin and Guns n' Roses! If you decide to stay here be sure to get one of the rooms overlooking the Sunset Strip because you can see what's going on all day and night! I think there is an extra $10 charge a night with this view.
Unique Qualities: The things I like best about this hotel is that it has rooftop pool and the best view in town! You can see 180 degrees around the city from the top of the hotel!
Also needing to be mentioned is the fact that you can simply walk out the front door of the hotel and there you are on Sunset with a variety of things at your fingertips (such as live music clubs, restaurants and comedy clubs). In fact this hotel is right beside the Laugh Factory and right across from the legendary House of Blues.
Good tip: be sure to bring some earplugs for when you do want to get some sleep! It gets pretty rowdy down on Sunset.
