    The food was quite good and the atmosphere was wonderful-even had a pianist serenading us for dinner. The waiters were totally charming and helpful.

    Favorite Dish: The lamb shank was falling off the bone good! The fish was excellent also. Even the inexpensive free wine was good.

    Though very busy and crowded, the atmosphere is electric and yet warm, and the food is excellent (don't miss the snails which the restaurant is named for). A little more expensive but worth it-even the wine was superb.
