I live just about 2 hours from Saratoga so attending the NYC Ballet during July and the Philadelphia Orchestra in August (which is also racing season) can be done as a day trip. Staying over can be a treat as there are plenty of good places to have dinner. It is affordable in July. Come August staying in Albany is less pricey, although still not cheap. |
The town's sidewalks have a number of horse scultpures. As we are often traveling just in time for SPAC performances then heading right home I have found the best way to get some photos for this page is just to point and click while my husband drives along. Not going to win any awards for photos this way but some are not as bad as they might be. And it is one way to enjoy traffic tie ups. |
