I have been to Ely twice as a day trip out of London. The cathedral has lovely windows. The Cromwell House Museum is also interesting.

We happened to be in Ely on market day last time. That was interesting, and I was able to get a broken watch strap quickly and cheapy replaced.

Im ashamed to say I live 20 minutes away from Ely but have never been there, a new stained glass museum has opened at the cathedral, Im definately going to visit soon
