Wigmore Hall is an experience. Catch a solo piano recital, other recital, or chamber music concert here. 36 Wigmore Street Marylebone W1H9DF Bond Street/Oxford Circus tube The hall was refurbished during the summer of 2004. It is still old fashion but now the seats are soft instead of itchy.

Located at 25 Brook Street, London. The famous composer lived and died here. It is where Handel wrote from 1723 until 1759. The out put of that period includes the Corornation Anthems, the Fireworks Music, and the Messiah. There is a short film on the composer and several restored early Georgain rooms to view, one set up as Handel's bedroom, another as his rehearsal room.

St. John's, Smith Square An English Baroque Church now used as a concert hall with a September through July season. We attended a fantastic performance of the Messiah with Emma Kirkby here in December of 2005. They had the seating so tight I felt like I was a sardine in a tin -- but the music was worth it.
