I went to some of the typical places and discovered some new ones too on this trip. I wish I could spend more time here! Well, maybe not in Piazza Navona, Its beautiful but lots of tourists just like me. But the area between the Piazza and the River has tons of restaurants to have a nice meal.
This day it rained, thankfully! In late July Rome is hot, humid and we were so thankful to have air-conditioning in our room. See my tips below for more of what we did and the hotel we stayed at.
Well, we asked for an economy but then they swiched us to and Alfa Romeo, Not sure we would have made it to Sorrento in this one.

I found this newly renovated hotel on venere.com I think but I reserved directly through the hotel. They speak English... more travel advice
