Keaton Beach, FL is one of those unique places where time seems to stand still. It's quiet, laid back and where you'll find that rare atmosphere of friendly people.
This small rural waterfront community located on the Gulf Coast of Florida, has virutally remained untouched by over development, due to the fact that most of this county's coastline is owned by the State and will remain undeveloped.
If you're looking for a place to get away from it all, Keaton Beach is it!
Don't plan on your cell phone working here, because most don't.
Keaton Beach has a natural beach, a 700 ft fishing pier, public boat ramp, marina, motel, lodge, three RV parks, restaurant and a convenience store.
Keaton Beach is known for it's great fishing and scalloping. It's only one of five counties in FL where scalloping is allowed, so you'll need to make reservations well in advance if you plan on scalloping (July 1st thru Sept 10th).
