Sunrise at Angkor Wat--Fall 2003

I recently returned from a six-week backpacking trip in Southeast Asia, and it has definitely ignited a strong desire to travel as much as I can for as long as I can. I love being on the road. If I could, I would get rid of everything I own, pack a few t-shirts into my Lowe Alpine bag, and fade into travel oblivion for the rest of my life. Unfortunately, I might need to work to finance that first. Alas.

Of all the places I have been, Vietnam is by far my favorite. It far exceeded any and every expectation. I would love to live there at some point.
