"Yermo~Home of Peggy Sue's Dinner" Yermo by Yaqui

Yermo Travel Guide: 28 reviews and 56 photos

Yermo shares its history with the Calico Ghost Town. I can only surmise it must have been a depot to supply the local mining companies for this area. When Calico was abandon, the post office was probably moved here, thus establishing it a community of its own. Also, Yermo is the supply annex for the US Marine Corps.

This is a originally roadside dinner that was built in 1954 and it was eventually bought by Champ & Peggy Sue. It has an extensive dinning area and an extensive movie memorbillia through the buiding. There is even a 5 & Dime store, and a wonderful Dinasour Park in the back.

Peggy Sue has these huge statues in the back of the restaurant. You can see them from the Interstate 15, so we finally stopped. Nate loves the dinasaurs. Thanks for stopping by.
