As you know by now, I love murals. They to me, are so Americana. I just loved this one and it is on the wall of the Winchesters Restaurant at 632 E. Main Street.
There are a couple of more down by Figueroa Plaza, Figueroa and Santa Clara streets and, just off of Main Street across from the San Buenaventura Mission.
If you pay attention they are starting to pop up everywhere. In many of these wonderful historic cities in California. They represent a wonderful story of our past to enrich our future!

Here is Figueroa Plaza, Figueroa and Santa Clara streets and, just off of Main Street across from the San Buenaventura Mission.
It is a very lovely park with two gorgeous fountains and it is here where you'll find more of those wonderful murals to see. Plus, there is a park located here also and this is where the A.J. Comstock Fire Museum is.

Dee, Queen of Museum Tips!! Fabulous photographs. Emphasis on local pts. of interest, architecture, the State park. Restaurant reviews are excellent. This is certainly a page to be proud of, Dee. |
