The Sierra Boat Company, a premier US wooden boat builder, opened here in 1952 and is considered a historical landmark. Did you see the fantastic mural on the building? Absolutely beautiful. The have annually Concours d'Elegance wooden boat show for a weekend of nostalgic cruising along the lake.

There restoration shops are open to the public and are eager to share information.

Magic Carpet Golf - Miniature Golf Course

Don't know about you, but these places are always fun and entertaining. I do not care what age you are, they are fun for everyone. There were several miniature golfs around the lake communities. This one was very busy and it was a beautiful day to spend it outside.
