Gravel everywhere!

I thought this sign was very important due to the extent of all the loose gravel everywhere. So running is not advisable nor are high heel shoes. Please wear low heeled shoes or boots even.

SOFT DIRT ROAD WITH DROP OFF!

This is the road up to the Borax Vistor Center. It is sort of steep, has gravel put down for safety, has speed limits and markers to reflect the corners at night. Yet, please take it easy driving up and coming down on this road. They have put up dirty burms, but it would still not keep a car or truck from going off the edge. One side is a pit, so you don't want to end up in there.

What A Hoot!

You are not seeing things, I repeat not seeing things. This sign is very for real. The reason it is posted this way is to get the vistors attention, which it does. There is a lot of traffic at this plant from trucks, trains, and people walking about. So, please keep the speed down.
