What a wonderful historical and charming city. I can't tell how wonderful and sweet everyone I came in contact with here. Everyone loved to chat and wanted to really know where you were from. I think I amazed a lot of folks because I was traveling all by myself and the fact I chose to visit Montgomery, which made my trip even more special because of the wonderful people. Please check out Stephen-KarenConn's Montgomery Page they have a great page and it was my inspiration for visiting Montgomery;-) |
| | Beautiful People of Montgomery I dedicate this space to the awesome individuals who made my visit educational and relaxing. I was simply in awe of the real southern hospitality. |
No Greater LoveIllusion The sun rises to another day My constitution keeps changing 'Til it slips away So I lie awake and stare My mind thinking, just wandering Is anybody there? Should I stay or go Should I sleep or stay awake Am I really happy or is it all Just an illusion Sitting in my room now Hiding thoughts Just hoping one day I'll get out I hear a voice call my name Breaking trance, so silent So I can stay the same Should I stay or go Should I sleep or stay awake Am I really happy or is it all Just an illusion Wait now, many things left unsaid This life remains the same But I change I try to fool myself in believing Things are going to get better But life goes on Should I stay or go Should I sleep or stay awake Am I really happy or is it all Just an illusion ~Creed ~ | | |

jumpingnorman Tue Aug 4, 2009 06:36 UTC I think this Confederate Prison is haunted...looks spooky...lots of history in Alabama...Excellent work, Norman :) | starship Sun Jun 7, 2009 02:20 UTC Never been to Montgomery but looks like a place I'd really like to visit. Crepe Myrtles are beautiful--I have 2 in my yard! | deecat Mon Jun 1, 2009 22:36 UTC So much enjoyed all the history, architecture...your passion and enthusiasm are a joy to behold. Martin Luther King and Rosa Park deserve attention regardless of the humidity!. A stunning portrayal of a lovely southern town. | Ewingjr98 Sun May 17, 2009 16:55 UTC Nice page! In my visits to Montgomery, I've enjoyed short visits, but long visits here become draining... and it's not just the temperature. The town seems to roll up the sidewalks awful early every night, even Subway closes at 5pm downtown! |
