Hilton Jackson (1001 East County Line Road.): Traffic's a nightmare to get in this place! Hilton Jackson Review

This is the only Hilton in Jackson (yeah there's several Hampton Inn's, and a couple of mutant hybrid versions of the Hilton, but this is the only Hilton). The hotel is fairly new (about five or six years old), but is starting to showing its age. Mostly the clientele are business types during the weekdays, and those with an inferiority complex thinking staying at a Hilton is something worth bragging about on the weekends. This Hilton is about what you would expect at any three-star hotel, but don’t expect these guys to break their backs to help you. Don't stay here on a weekend, as the traffic on Countyline makes it too much of a hassel to stay here.

Unique Qualities: Parking in the hotel is awful, and the traffic in front of this Hilton on Countyline is a total nightmare. Be prepared to give yourself a LOT of extra time to drive to your hotel, as there are too many bad drivers on this strip at one time. Avoid Fridays, Saturdays, and the ENTIRE Christmas season, as traffic is terrible.

Directions: Take the County Line Exit eastbound. The Hilton is at the corner of Countyline and I-55 North (it's the only large building in the area, so you cannot miss it).
