Courtesy of a fellow VT member, I have been introduced to a new, unique travelsite specifically for travelers in the U.S. Its purpose is to see how many of the 3000-something counties each person has visited. Its pretty interesting to see where you stack up against other travelers, and they also have interesting facts about different counties, plus county quizzes. This picture highlights some of the beautiful scenery I saw in my favorite trip outside the U.S. so far, to Costa Rica. It seems that lots of VTers have personal info and travel history on their homepages, so I thought I would add a little about myself. So here goes...
Countries I have been to: Germany, England, France, Switzerland, Italy, Bahamas, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic.
Favorite countries, besides U.S.: Costa Rica, Germany.
Countries I'd most like to go to: Belize, Brazil, New Zealand, Australia, India, Thailand.
States I have been to for at least a day or two: Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio, Illinois, Minnesota, N. Dakota, Montana, Oregon, Washington, California, Colorado, Wyoming, Texas, and D.C.
States I have driven through but not actually stopped in except for maybe gas or food: Utah, West Virginia, Maryland, Indiana, Wisconsin, Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Idaho.
Favorite states: Tennessee, North Carolina, California.
States I most want to see: Hawaii, Alaska, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts.

I spent my first two years of college at Transylvania University in Lexington, KY. However, I am now a student here in my home town at UTC (Univ. of Tennessee-Chattanooga) and I am glad to have returned. This will be my last year, finally! Then I plan to move to Southern California for grad school.
