Cascadia State Park Travel Guide: 2 reviews and 4 photos

While not especially large, this state park offers a bit of a recreational space in a narrow canyon beside the South Santiam River. Further north, the Middle Fork of the Santiam River is blocked by several hydroelectric dams, and therefore the recreational locations are much different. There, the artificial lakes create water space. Here, the recreational space is the Cascade Mountains as they were before the dams.

As I said the park is not large, but there are a few trails in the park, and as highway 20 is one of the lesser traveled highways over the Cascades this is a somewhat less visited state park than some of them.
