"The Nile and Beyond" Murchison Falls National Park by glabah

Sunrise over the Nile

Our team of short-term missionaries was in the Kampala area, helping out at a new church construction. When the concrete for some vital structural parts had to dry, we left for Murchison Falls.

Above, we watched the sun rise over the Nile River while waiting for the ferry and saw a lot of different wildlife. Please check my travelogue for more photos and information.

Uganda National Emblem

One of the long-term missionaries we were working with received, as a gift from one of the nationals, this hand-painted shield. The emblem on it is the national emblem of Uganda.

Great pages about Uganda and wonderful travelogues! The main reason why I want to go there is to do trekking in the rainforest to see gorillas and chimps, but it looks like Murchison Falls is a must as well!

The sunrise over the Nile looks lovely! Sounds awful for the people who had bats in their room!

Thanks for the info on Murchison. I wish there were more information available on this park.
