Thanks for the tip , We (mustertal and myself ) went there after a storm and found that it was a bit bedraggled , have to go in the warm weather. Did you know ,there is free bus to the park from Costa Teguise ( just outside theSalina Melia Hotel).

It's been 30 years since I was last on Lanzarote. I spent nearly 2 wonderful months living in the small village of Punta Mujeres. It was a wonderful time in my life. Thanks for sparking the memories. :-)

Lanzarote is the Canary I prefer. What Cesare Manrique built is really amazing, melting in the landscape ! Timanfaya park is also a wonderful place, best in Spring (less tourists) !

I always imagined this place stuffed with tourist , drinking beer. Maybe I should ad this place onto my wish list. Off season it must be fantastic to be here. well done.
