we started a love affair with Slovenia that will probably last for years, its a tiny country with big views and wonderful people,
we took our Slovenian money to the bureau de change to convert it to GBP....as we stood in the queue camcorderman said `lets not bother changing it, lets go back tomorrow`

I fell in love with Slovenia, and now I dont have the right words to describe it

all the usual words....beautiful .... stunning .... marvellous ....wonderful sound trite and jaded, but they are true

I want fresh new words for a country who made me feel fresh and new, the cool crisp Alpine air was like a tonic, I felt more awake than I have for months, and by the short Adriatic coastline [Slovenia has only 44k of coastline, sandwiched between Italy and Croatia] basking in the hot sunshine I felt warm and relaxed, a perfect place to end a perfect trip
