It loved us so much it didnt want us to leave, so it hid all the road signs for the Slovenian border
we passed down this road about three times, it could have been more but I stopped counting
Kristina was SURE Slovenia was out there somewhere, she`d only left it a couple of hours earlier, we were beginning to think someone had moved it, or that it had gone for it`s lunch, eventually Kristina stopped a passer by, and asked
and we got even more lost
then she stopped ANOTHER passer by,
he was Slovenian
and he knew the way to the border ccrossing
Slovenia WAS still there, so we waved goodbye to Gorizia |

Hehe and did YOU like Gorizia? I'm from Gorizia and, well it has no sens putting signs for THE Slovenian border, there's loads of different borders! If you exit the city and you're still in Italy, then that's the wrong way, just turn back and try again :P | rexvaughan Sat Oct 1, 2005 02:06 UTC

Haha! a 'Lemme outta here!' story fm Gorizia (first I hear of it :) Went to a beach today, was full of cows, pigs, horses &empty bottles!! Ran to the water then remembered the sharks... just not a beachcomber - unless there are people around, not a zoo! | KristaB Sat Sep 17, 2005 17:24 UTC
