Many statues were destroyed after the riegn of the Pharaohs or just the head or face removed, even without a head this statue is still beautiful

Carl in the Hypostyle hall
Karnak is probably the most visited temple and it is so beautiful
the Hypostyle Hall is magnificent, and you can feel the history when you put your hand on the pillars
I wanted everyone to go away so that I could have it all to myself

Hatshepsut was my kind of girl... she knew what she wanted and that was to be king... so thats what she did and she built her mortuary temple in the valley of the kings
It is a truly impressive building, fit for a king

When you visit the valley of the kings go as early in the morning as you can because it is very, very hot
many of the tombs are open for you to visit and the carvings and paintings are beautiful.
Flash photography is not allowed in the tombs so as to preserve the paintings
