  Oh well, these crowds must be horrible, fully understand why you wanted to have it all alone for yourself :-) Egypt is on my list, but I don't know how to do it in my quiet travel style :-)

  I revisited Luxor and Karnak this year. The view on the Nile was impressive - like always.

  Oh boy, I didn't think the Temple at Karnak was that big until I saw the size of the pillar you so badly wanted to keep for yourself! Hahaha. Thank you Berni. :O)

  beautiful writing but it's a shame you didn't get a chance to mix with the people, what's history when there's so much goin on to absorb right now, egyptian are wonderful people-give them some credit
