We were looking for somewhere close to Calais so that we didnt have a long drive to catch the hovercraft, when we came to Wimweeux and got stuck in a traffic jam along the narrow main street, so we parked, found a hotel and had a lovely last evening in France
Wimereux is a charming quiet sea side town with gaily painted houses an beach huts lining the sea front. It is a real family place without roller coasters, discos and slot machines |

I've done many 24 - 48 hour trips over this way and enjoyed the coastline. Have you been to Wissant? Four or five very good places to eat, and the cheapest one there is excellent! |
