Clare is situated on the West Coast of Ireland, looking onto the Atlantic Ocean.
When I was young, my father would joke with me to be careful while swimming on the beaches in Co. Clare. He would say "If the tide takes you away, you will end up in America".
Clare has some lovely beaches and coastline. Most famous of all of Clares' coastline is probably the "Cliffs of Moher".
Clare is also home to the spectacular "Burren Region" |
