Well Reykjavík is my hometown. I´m born and raised here so I like it alot. I come from the west side of Reykjavik...I say the best side! I love the houses there and the architecture. Reykjavík is nice in the summer time. Dark and sleepy in the winter time. The summer is very short but nice the winter is very long and cold. I´m gonna try to take some more pictures soon to put in here but for now make do with what I have....

This is Kvennaskólinn, or the womens school on english. This is the first school taht was opend for women and me and my grandmother both attended this school. I was very proud to get into it since you have to take exams and get a good score so that you can get in. Today the school alows both sexes to part take in the education so it´s abour 25% men and 75% women. I like it alot and I´m very proud that the school has been kept so well because it´s a very important chapter in our history as women in Iceland.
