I was based out of Dublin for 5 months in 2001. I have been there before on shopping trips from Iceland and I loved it, but living there was even better! You will never get bored in Dublin. You can party every day! I would spend alot of my days in the city but I only lived 10 minutes away by bus in a part called Clontarf, 150 Howth rd to be exact. We liked to party so Dublin was exellent. Go to Temple Bar and have a walk there are plenty of pubs and restaurants. Endless streets that have all the brand names in clothing. And the Irish people who are so hospitable and just loving people. My favorite spots to go out were all in the temple bar: Bobs, Kitchen, porter house good live music, good beer. The nightclub/theater you should definetly go to is tha gaity theater. In the evening it is a theater and at late night it is a night club offering live music and dj´s with a great variety of music. Something you have to experience. For a nice walk and good food go to Howth. There are small restaurants I had Italien when I was there and it was lovely. Cute little place for a nice walk. |

HORSCHECK Thu Jul 17, 2003 20:38 UTC Great start about this amazing city. You really seem to like the Elephant & Castle as you recommend it a few times *smile* |
