Getting there

Buses to Kalambaka are available from Ioannina, Trikala, Thessaloniki and Athens.

It is also possible to take the train from Thessaloniki or Athens with a switch at Larissa.

If you are traveling from Athens, take a morning train so that you can enjoy the spectacular scenery as you pass through the mountains between Livadia and Lamia.

Instead try the car!!!

It's quit easy to go the all the monateries since the greek authority made a road! Take it easy the road is some what difficult!!!

The only one a little bit more difficult is the Holy Trinity, where you must take on a descent and a way up to enter it.

The parking is right in front of the Great Meteora!!!

I guessed it was not like this in the time they were built!!!
