Its funny how I always imagined Hollywood Boulevard to be a precinct - its not - its a busy street similar to say the Marylebone Road in London (English readers will know what I mean I guess). There are cars and buses going by all the time and its very, very ordinary. There is no razzamataz and I was slightly disappointed - perhaps it was the heavy rain on a January afternoon but do not be too put off - you have to go - just once.
Hollywood was toured in a car in the rain and maybe I got the wrong impression but a car tour of Beverly Hills was a far better trip.
- Pros:No razzmatazz - OK but.......................
- Cons:Said to be unsafe at night
- In a nutshell:Go - do see it.
