I have nothing on Leusden other than a restaurant tip but I did stay here with friends in June 2009 and it seems a pleasant place to live. Basically an overspill town for Amersfoort that was mainly built in the 1980s it has a large shopping centre and some pleasant housing areas but nothing for the tourist as it so new.
