Delightful Dales village

Masham is a delightful Dales village where time seems to stand still. The village is based around the market square and streets radiate off from this in to a fairly large village.
There are two major breweries to visit and a very good but small market twice each week.
Several pubs, restaurants and cafes along with a small range of shops make this an ideal place to spend half a day in when touring the Yorkshire Dales.

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:Picturesque
  • Cons:Too many noisy motorbikes (and their bad riders)
  • In a nutshell:Worth half a days visit
