We made a fleeting visit to St Albans late one spring Saturday afternoon but in a short time managed to see most of the main historical sites. This is a highly interesting town worthy of a full day at least.
St Albans was a Roman town and there are still some interesting Roman sites to see. A good shopping centre housed in old buildings with real character and many open spaces.
