Inside the Brunswick Centre - Scarborough

Inside the Brunswick Centre

The Brunswick Centre: Scarboroughs only indoor shopping centre

A fairly large shopping centre in Westborough. Debenhams is the major occupier but there are other well known national chains here too.
Handy for refreshments in the food court and toilets if you are in town shopping.
Car drivers beware - the slope up from the street to the quite expensive car park is very, very steep. Make sure you have good clutch control!
The view from the top is very good as you would expect.

Address: The Brunswick Shopping Centre, Westborough, Scarbo

Directions: Just down Westborough from the railway station. The park and ride bus stops at the back door of Debenhams and you can walk through Debenhams into the shopping centre.

Discount books - Scarborough

Discount books

Dsicount Book Clearance: Cheap books galore

This is a real gem of a shop if you like books. Every book is between £1 and £4 but the majority are £2.00. The books are all new and unlike many discount book shops this one is well furnished and has good decor. Friendly helpful staff and with fast turn over , especially in the summer, a good changing selection of books. We found the complete Dads Army scripts that normally retails for £20 for just £2.

What to pay: Anthing between £1 and £4.

Address: In the Brunswick Centre

Directions: Just inside the main doors on the left.
