Nightlife Spot: The Drunken Ship
Good for drinking and all American! Bartenders are (nearly) all either British or American (exception: the manager), so you'll get along here quite well. Mostly filled with English-speaking people, so if you can't see the Italians anymore, you can come here. The bartenders are always in a good mood and try giving everybody a good time (try a body shot!!!).

Nightlife Spot: BAJA
Baja is located near Piazza del Popolo, on the Tiber. Baja is quite exclusive usually, but every Wednesday's Erasmus Party: you pay 10 and can be served from 11pm-3am at the open bar. You'll find every nationality on Baja on Wednesday nights... Usually a drink costs between 6 and 12. You can also eat here, Baja opens around 8pm.

Nightlife Spot: Grotta Pinta
Nice blue and white interior, matched with the "antique" brickwork. Nearly no Italians, because you have to be an international student to be allowed inside. Live DJs everynight, Saturdays: Matt D. Music: Rap, Hip-Hop, Reggae, R'N'B, occasionally also 60s/70s or Latin Drinks cost about 5, but there's hardly anything in them, so better go and have a drink before you go dancing. Entrance fee: 10 for a membership (which lasts for one year) or 10 for entrance and a free drink. If you're planing to go there twice, I'd recommend the membership. There are seperate toilets: the ladies has an additional room where you're able to discuss the guys... :-) or fix your makeup (big mirrors!)

Nightlife Spot: Vineria
The Vineria is a outdoor winebar on the Campo de' Fiori. If you're more into having a glass of good Italian wine that partying with Americans and hard shots on the rocks, then this is the perfect place to go. People who go here are basicly adults or the jeunesse dor?e.
