Christmas eve either 1994 or 1995. We went to see the Packers play the Steelers at Lambeau fField. we were accompanied by Mike & Tina (wife's cousin & her American husband) with whom we were staying at the time.
I had prepurchased tickets in Australia from a U.S. company. So it was a bit of a Christmas treat, especially for Mike as he'd never been to a Packers game despite growing up in Wisconsin & now living back there after some years in the Marines.
And what a game. Packers won, but only thanks to Yancy Thigpen dropping the ball in the end zone with only seconds to go! If he'd caught it then the Steelers would have won! Actually it was good pressure from either one of the corners, Craig Newsome or the strong safety Leroy Butler that casued the dropped ball!
- Pros:Great footy team & interesting town
- Cons:So cold in winter for too long
- In a nutshell:Gotta get back & see those Packers again!

Wow, that is frozen tundra that both of you are standing on!!!. The stadium pic is before their recent renovation. This is what I was expecting when I went. Now there is a big, heated, atrium extending from the main stadium. Go Pack Go!
