This place has a big range of items that make excellent souvenirs. Of course the main ones are drums. They advertise having over 100 sizes & styles of drums with over 60 handpainted ones.

They also stock a whole range of other things including: textiles, jewellery & pottery, music tapes, books etc.

What To Buy: Well, like most other places it all depends on your budget and the amount of space you either do, or don't have in your luggage.

We were getting towards the end of a month in the U.S. so were running short in both of the abovementioned departments. Therefore I had to settle for an unpainted one.

Little did I know how much pleasure my twin girls would get out of playing (well I don't know if that word is an accurate description or not LOL) it at the expense of my peace of mind of course!

What To Pay: Can't remember exactly, but I know the jewellery was cheaper than the shops in Taos Plaza.

Thank you for the great trip around Taos Doug. The only way that I will go skiing now will be if I'm asleep-ha, ha. Mind you it does look like a fascinating pastime but just not my cup of tea any more. The hotel looks great to me too.

I'm ready to visit Taos. Been thinking about it for a long time. You've peaked my interest even more. Painted drums, huh? Think I could dig it.
