Home Away from Home on a Few Occasions Sure Wisconsin doesn't have the mega-theme parks etc. Sure Milwaukee isn't a Chicago, San Francisco, New York, Boston or Seattle (my top 5 favourite U.S. cities).
It does have some magical qualities that are part natural beauty & part created by the great down to earth people who inhabit this state. |

|  | Me in the Truuuuuck! Just had to add this photo as we've only ever visited Wisonsin in Winter time.
The first time we visited my wife's cousin (Tina) & her American husband (Mike Toetz) when they were living in Port Washington, a lovely little place on Lake Michigan.
Then we had 3 consecutive white Christmases with them at West Bend, about 30/40 minutes inland from Port Washington.
So, sometimes, I got to drive Mike's Ford 150 or 250, can't remember. Let me know if you see this photo & recognise which it is. |

| | Me'n the snowblower! Another just had to add photo. Please forgive my self-indulgence. I thought this was pretty cool (metaphorically speaking of course as it logically is definitely literally so!). Mind you that was only till about half way through the job when I realised what an absolute pain in the you know where, this would be if you actually had to do it regularly!!!! |
