Wollongong Travel Guide: 193 reviews and 574 photos
The title of this page comes from an ABC television series way back in my mid-late teenage years called "Aunty Jack" & they used to lampoon this city with a segment by the above name: "What's On In Wollongong" the implication being of course that nothing worthwhile was ever on there.
However, our last visit there p[roves this not to be the case as we attended the wedding of our good friends Steven & Cheryl Roffe (nee Corbett). And sadly, Cheryl had to fly back to Ontario, Canada (Kenora specifically) about a week later because she didn't qualify for permanent Australian residency at that stage.
Now almost 7 years and 2 children later they're looking to go live in Canada at least for a year, but who knows how much longer.

I do like dear old Wollongong.
What's on in Wollongong eh? Looks like my style of hotel & not toooo pricey for an ocean view.
Must take the girls down here for a wekend eh? Nice memories!
Been there, done that (well not the SAME wedding lol!) & stayed in the same hotel. Terrific spot isn't it!
