"Home of the Valley of the Giants Treetop Walk" Walpole-Nornalup National Park by aussiedoug
Walpole-Nornalup National Park Travel Guide: 6 reviews and 15 photos
We visited here on our way back from Albany while we were driving across to Augusta.
See my must see activity that explains the title of this page.
Walpole-Nornalup National Park is found in a high rainfall area of south western Western Australia. We didn't see much of the coastal part of it as we did it as part of our drive.
I'm really glad we did stop and do the Valley of the Giants Treetop Walk. One of the things I really enjoyed about driving around W.A. was seeing all the different trees to what I grew up with on the mid north coast of New South Wales.
- Pros:Beautiful forest
- In a nutshell:Worth a visit if you're down this way!

I hope you walked among the trees they call the Ancient Kingdom while you were there. Are we going to see more of WA from you some day? leyle
Our SW is truly beautiful with so much to enjoy. It sounds as though you really appreciated it, Doug.
I've never heard of tingle trees!
A fantastic place! (Ok, the bridge is not like the Capilano, but they both move! :-)) (I've been searching for pages on the Valley of the Giants - I was there in July and I was curious about others' pictures and comments.)
That must be a great experience. I hope to check by myself one day. Thanks for the tip !
You forgot to mention how much the walk moves! Agree with you about walking the forest floor. Cheers, Ian.
tree top walking? that must have been great! did the birds up there get annoyed?... ; -)
Fabulous forests for sure in SW WA & I felt a strong spiritual feel about them. What about you?
At least this walk wasn't too difficult to do while being heavily pregnant with the twins! lol!
A very worthwhile activity indeed when in SW Australia.
