Many others have recommended this and I have to agree. See the Seine from as many different perspectives as possible. For example start at one of the bridges and walk along rive gauche till the next bridge then cross it and walk along rive droit till the next bridge and then so one. Then you could turn around and do it in reverse direction. There's so much to see! See it from vantage points such as the Tour Eiffel or La Samaritaine or Tour Montparnasse. Also get right down to next to the water at many of the steps that lead down. Take something to read and a piece of fruit or a pastry or two to munch on and if it's a sunny day you'll be so glad you did!

Address: Any section you can get to relatively easily
Directions: I'd suggest the area between Pont de la Concorde (nearest Metro - Concorde on the right bank & Assemblee Nationale on the left bank)and Pont de Sully (nearest Metro - Sully Morland on the left bank).

I was talking with a friend the other day & discussing why we both love Paris so much. We agreed that one of the main reasons was because it didn't matter where you walked in Paris it was only a matter of a short time beofe you would come across something that would make you go ooh or aah!! I will make a travelogue with some of the photos I believe will fit best with this tip, but how do I single one out........ I'll pick one which shows an interesting juxtaposition of old & new. See what you think! TIP STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION! I'll be back (& no I'm not big Arnie)

We visited Musee Rodin on the second last day of our "Artists' Paris" tour as per my Paris intro'. Can't say as how I'd ever been overly fascinated by sculpture before even though I've always thought them quite beautiful. However, when you are lucky enough to have someone of the calibre of Terence Maloon explaining things to you in his special way, it enable you to see things with a fresh & positive eye. Thank You Terence! I really enjoyed this museum and would thoroughly recommend it to you if you are visiting Paris! The photo I've added was taken on the first floor. I loved the interesting juxtaposition it offered with the sculpture framed by the window, with foliage and the beautiful Paris apartments outside. Click on it to enlarge it and do it justice
